Global Health Course

CORE108 Global Health is an interdisciplinary pan-university course developed by Masaryk University and the University of Tartu to introduce students to the foundations of global health. Open to learners from all study backgrounds and academic levels, it combines teacher-led seminars with digital learning and collaborative project work in international teams. The course aims to strengthen students’ understanding of major global health challenges, health systems, and policy responses while building skills in analysis, communication, and shared problem-solving. Its broader vision is to create an inclusive learning space where future professionals can engage with global health as both an academic field and a practical responsibility.
